Second Lieutenant David Fred Prees was born in March 1915, the only child of William Prees (1889-1936) and Lillian “Lillie” Beseke Ballou (1894-1940). David was from Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and graduated from the University of Wisconsin, where he studied Chemistry.
He was killed in action on his nineteenth mission, while serving as the Co-Pilot on the Joe Noyes Crew. If you happen to have any other information on David Prees, please get in touch with me.
